Howland Fellowship | Ryan Ives

The Howland Fellowship is a $10 000 Travel Fellowship awarded to one Master in Landscape Architecture student every year.  Last Friday was the opening of the culminating exhibit for this year’s winner. Ryan Ives traveled to Nepal to study both the use of photography as a means of capturing landscape (and questioning its validity) as well as how the Nepalese people have learned to live in harsh climatic conditions throughout the millennia (as a lesson for us who may face similar challenges in the near future with climate change).

Congrats Ryan!
